邦題「シューマン：弦楽四重奏曲第１番・第３番」。１９世紀作曲家のシューマンの作品の中では、地味だと言われる弦楽四重奏曲にスポットを当てたアルバム。ここの演奏は情熱的で解釈が斬新なのだそうですが、そういう点はよく分かりません。なるほど「第１番」の４楽章や「第３番」の２楽章の盛り上がる部分などが、そういう雰囲気か？温度感はやや高めな気も。ドラマチックに展開していく風景が心地良く感じられます。（０３年３月２６日発売）
