邦題「暗闇にひそむ歌～ジョン・ダウランドの世界」。ジョン・ダウランドは１６－１７世紀のイギリスの作曲家。ジョン・ポッターのヴォーカル（テナー）とリュートやバロック・バイオリンなどとの厳かな響きの中、ジョン・サーマンやバリー・ガイらのジャズでも活躍しているミュージシャンも参加して、やはり厳かに寄り添うように演奏しています。 曲にマッチしているので気がつきませんでしたが、即興も交えて演奏されているとのこと。（００年２月２３日発売）
