邦題「ヘンデル：クラヴィーア組曲」。 ヘンデルは１８世紀の、ドイツ出身で後半生はイギリスに帰化した作曲家。はっきりバロック作品とわかる曲は、私のようなクラシック初心者には入りやすく、耳に心地よく、安らぎを与えます。 アルバムは７つの組曲から成っていて、それぞれが４－５の小さいパートで１つの組曲が出来上がっています。特に短調の作品が好み。安定した曲の構成とメロディはバッハに通じるものがあると思います。
